OVERVIEW
Veeco’s Precision Surface Processing (PSP) business is scaling rapidly to build advanced wet processing systems that enable next-generation semiconductor and AI technologies. As Warehouse Supervisor for our Horsham operation, you’ll lead a skilled logistics team in a high-mix, high-urgency environment where accurate material flow drives our ability to meet aggressive customer delivery targets. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives on continuous improvement, accountability, and empowering teams to perform flawlessly in a growth-driven manufacturing culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop a team handling receiving, kitting, picking, and shipping for PSP manufacturing and global customer shipments.
- Ensure timely posting of material movements in SAP and inventory integrity through robust control processes.
- Balance workflows across production support, sales orders, and urgent service requests—prioritizing escalations while maintaining schedule adherence.
- Oversee domestic and international packing and shipping documentation to meet customer requirements and comply with trade regulations.
- Drive root cause resolution for material discrepancies and non-conformance, partnering with Procurement and Quality as needed.
- Conduct cycle counts and lead investigations on variances; implement corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy and audit readiness.
- Promote Lean practices through 5S and structured problem-solving; champion continuous improvement projects within warehouse operations.
- Own safety performance within assigned areas: enforce PPE usage, training compliance, and adherence to Veeco EHS standards.
- Act as a working supervisor—support day-to-day execution while driving team performance metrics and CI goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse and material management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- SAP or comparable ERP system experience required; exposure to mobile-enabled WMS preferred.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement experience strongly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proven leadership in high-velocity warehouse functions with complex material flow.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with a bias for action.
- Ability to coach and build engagement in diverse teams.
- High comfort level in metrics-driven environments; demonstrated success in cycle count, on-time ship, and inventory accuracy targets.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and Logistics.
Salary and Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $60,246—$88,360, plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors when determining your pay.
