Overview

Veeco's Singapore manufacturing operation must convert changing customer demand, material availability, and factory capacity into predictable business results. As Senior Manager, Planning & Master Scheduling, you will lead the function that connects customer orders to factory execution across one of the industry's most complex manufacturing environments. Your decisions directly influence delivery performance, inventory efficiency, revenue execution, and customer satisfaction. As Veeco expands across advanced semiconductor, photonics, and related manufacturing technologies, you will build the planning organization, strengthen operational processes, and create the foundation that enables sustainable growth and scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own the factory master production schedule and integrated demand plan, ensuring customer commitments, revenue targets, capacity, and material availability remain aligned.

  • Lead cross-functional planning decisions that balance delivery performance, inventory investment, manufacturing constraints, and business priorities across multiple product lines.

  • Build and develop a high-performing planning and production-control organization with clear accountability, capability growth, and succession depth.

  • Drive measurable improvements in on-time delivery, schedule attainment, manufacturing cycle time, inventory health, and planning accuracy.

  • Lead new-product and product-transition planning activities while minimizing operational risk and financial exposure.

  • Strengthen planning systems, master-data quality, reporting visibility, and process governance to improve decision-making speed and quality.

  • Partner with global operations, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, finance, and commercial teams to create executable long-range supply plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, production control, master scheduling, or manufacturing planning.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing professional planning or production-control teams.

  • Experience owning master production scheduling and sales-and-operations planning processes in a semiconductor, capital-equipment, aerospace, or similarly complex manufacturing environment.

  • Experience using enterprise resource planning and material-requirements planning systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Skilled at translating long-range demand forecasts into executable factory plans.

  • Experienced in leading executive planning reviews and resolving competing priorities through data-driven recommendations.

  • Strong understanding of capacity planning, inventory optimization, production control, and supply-demand balancing.

  • Able to turn complex operational data into clear business insights for senior leaders.

  • Experienced in automation, planning-system improvement, and operational transformation initiatives.

  • Effective at building alignment across global teams with diverse objectives and constraints.

  • Demonstrated success developing future managers and high-potential planning professionals.
