Overview

Responsible for providing pre- and post-sales process-related technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve specific applications problems through consultation with customers during installation, integration, training and maintenance throughout the entire sales and post-sales process.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains detailed technical knowledge of the specifications and operations of Veeco LSA systems and related products.
  • Maintains familiarity with the specifications and operation of competing products through training and self-learning.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of LSA process hardware systems and relevant diagnostics. Experience and knowledge on Silicon Semiconductor fabrication RTP/Implant process development is a plus. 
  • Presents technical aspects of products to customers and sales channels.
  • Must work closely with customers to analyze application issues.
  • Plans, implements and controls measure to improve process yield and throughput for customers.
  • Provides engineering support on reliability qualification and evaluation.
  • Organizes, carries out and reports the progress of sample investigations on customer samples.
  • Provides technical knowledge to acquaint customers with how to optimize the LSA process.
  • Provides front-line telephone and on-site diagnostic and technical support for various LSA systems.
  • Provides on-the-job training, education and assistance to fellow team members both within the local team, company, for customers and partners.
  • Works as a member of a cross-functional team with service and sales personnel and company business units or within Asia Pacific region to fulfill the customer sign-off and revenue requirements.
  • Submit written applications-related reports regarding customer problems and other related situations.
  • Communicates and participates technical trainings regularly with business units to enhance the professional knowledge and to gather up-to-date product information.
  • Undertakes any other duties as may be assigned by upper managers and leaders.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry or related field
  • Min 2 years of experience in Semiconductor RTP and Implant frontend related process.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • A positive team player, self-motivated with strong analytical skills.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • Must be able to travel to the USA and within the Asia region
