Human Resource Intern-Taiwan

Overview

We are seeking a motivated HR Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources Department.  You will play a key role in maintaining efficient workflows, assisting with onboarding tasks and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Leave Process Management
    • Assist in tracking employee leave application and updating related documents
    • Prepare and submit quarterly leave accrual reports for management review
    • Assist with employee’s inquiries related to leave balance and policies
  2. Onboarding Support
    • Coordinate logistics for new hire orientation sessions
    • Ensure new hires complete required forms, for uploading to the HR systems
  1. Employee Document & Visa Support
    • Assist in drafting certificates of employment, invitation letters and other documentation to support employee’s overseas travel or visa requirements
    • Compile and organize documents for employee visa applications
  2.  Administrative Support
    • Assist in follow-up on timely completion of HR-related tasks e.g. code of conduct acknowledgements and performance review submissions.
    • Ensuring employment records are accurate/ attaching files
  3. Work on other administrative duties and/or special projects as assigned. 

 

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. Bi-lingual (English & Mandarin) communication proficiency is required. 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal communication)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic understanding of HR principles (e.g. confidentiality, compliance, record-keeping)
  • Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations is preferred but not required.
