Human Resource Intern-Taiwan

Overview
We are seeking a motivated HR Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources Department. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient workflows, assisting with onboarding tasks and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Responsibilities
- Leave Process Management
- Assist in tracking employee leave application and updating related documents
- Prepare and submit quarterly leave accrual reports for management review
- Assist with employee’s inquiries related to leave balance and policies
- Onboarding Support
- Coordinate logistics for new hire orientation sessions
- Ensure new hires complete required forms, for uploading to the HR systems
- Employee Document & Visa Support
- Assist in drafting certificates of employment, invitation letters and other documentation to support employee’s overseas travel or visa requirements
- Compile and organize documents for employee visa applications
- Administrative Support
- Assist in follow-up on timely completion of HR-related tasks e.g. code of conduct acknowledgements and performance review submissions.
- Ensuring employment records are accurate/ attaching files
- Work on other administrative duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. Bi-lingual (English & Mandarin) communication proficiency is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (written and verbal communication)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of HR principles (e.g. confidentiality, compliance, record-keeping)
- Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations is preferred but not required.
